Policies for beginning driving course

Any student who does not pass a section will receive one FREE retake on any of the 4 sections.

Any lost documentation (i.e. the POP Waiver) that needs replaced will incur a $25 fee.

In class behavior should be beyond reproach. At any time if a student shows disrespect or other qualities not becoming a good student they will be asked to leave class immediately and no refund will be given. I will show all of my students dignity and respect and dignity and respect should be what all students show the class.

During the driving section any student who is exhibiting unreasonable safety issues will be asked to immediately terminate their session. A free retake will be scheduled. Safety is of the utmost importance and it is my responsibility to insure my driver, my passenger, and other roadway users are safe.

Course fee is transferable to future courses. Fees are refundable more than 30 days prior to the course. Fees are non-refundable within 30 days of the first day of the registered course.

Any student receiving a perfect score on the drive test will be issued one free Dairy Queen treat.

Procedures

Please bring a writing utensil. The student is responsible for their own snacks, drinks, lunch or lunch money during all sections of this course.

Phase 1: 20 hours of state-mandated classwork will be administered.

Phase 2 : A comprehensive final written examination will be given at the end of the classroom session.

Phase 3: All three sections of the on street evaluation must be passed before eligible to take the final drive

test. This includes city, highway, and interstate driving.

Phase 4: A final driving evaluation, which will be administered in Seward, Nebraska, will be given to all students who have successfully completed Phases 1,2, and 3.
